Sound Healing Bali
The use of specific frequencies to promote healing and balance is known as sound healing. It uses numerous instruments and the voice to address multiple layers of our life, from the physical to the emotional and spiritual.
Whether we actively listen to music, play an instrument, move to the beat of the music, or passively receive suitable frequencies, sound can have a significant impact on our health and well-being. The use of specific frequencies to promote healing and balance is known as sound healing.
It uses numerous instruments and the voice to address multiple layers of our life, from the physical to the emotional and spiritual. It aids us in being more ‘in tune with ourselves and ‘in sync’ with the natural rules, structure, and order of the cosmos in some ways.
Most ancient cultures believed in the healing power of music. The ancient Greeks used the flute and lyre, Native Americans used shamanic drums and chants, Australian Aborigines played the didgeridoo, and Hindus in India chanted Sanskrit mantras to restore balance harmony. In the recent century, sound healing has been rediscovered. Health in people, communities, and environment, to name a few.
Music therapy, for example, was provided to wounded soldiers during WWII, and ultrasound was effectively adopted into Western medicine, for example, to dissolve kidney stones, decrease tumours, and assess the state of internal organs and soft tissues.
Through entrainment, sound can work as a medium for our bodies to repair themselves. The body receives a signal to go towards and match the ‘healthy’ sound vibration when the sound healer provides therapeutic frequencies during good therapy.
What’s happening during a class session?
Sound healing makes friends with the overactive and noisy mind, allowing transformation and healing. Many people report an altered state of awareness during a sound-healing session, sometimes described as “floaty.” There is frequently a feeling of lessened worry and muscle tension, as well as a sense of great space.
According to sound healers, it works by lowering blood pressure, boosting circulation, and slowing respiratory rates.
